I spend more time reading about correct diets and what how much. My Mal gets a mixed 2-3 variety. Altho she’s a Maine coon, she only eats about 1/2-3/4 cup a day. I weekly fill up a quart container with kibble. She’s not an ‘aggressive) feeder. She’s 19 mos and weighs just shy of 20 lbs. On My next visit to our local veterinarian I will ask her about adding taurine as well as a mixed supplement. This can certainly get expensive. Her treats are a tbs of yogurt from my breakfast and a lickable before bedtime. Many thanks for your suggestions.

We have a 23 pound Big Boy.
He was a stray (abandoned) and gained weight after a severe injury and put on steroids.
He grazes all day and is strictly an indoor cat now because he fights outdoor cats.
The problem is that we have rescue cats from ages 3 months to 17 years. They all have different food needs. He’s the only fat one and eats their food.
I’m putting up a baby gate between him and the food because he can’t jump or fit between the bars.

I have three cats two tabbies and one Norwegian Forrest cats and they all go out all night if they want and when they return in the morning they eat well one packet of wet food one packet of hydro life for tabbies two for norw Forrest then same again for dinner time the same again at midnight is that too much they don’t look fat and quite energetic
