    Hi from Gauteng in South Africa Dr Scott have you not considered getting Mango,s DNA tested to see what kinds of spanual his DNA consist of seeing that he is much larger than a spanual loved Vet on the Hill and now Resue Vet…

  5. The point about keeping the carrier out permanently is so important and so overlooked. Most people only bring it out for vet visits, which basically trains the cat to associate it with stress. Leave it out all the time with a familiar blanket inside and it just becomes another piece of furniture — the cat stops seeing it as a threat. Makes any kind of travel or relocation dramatically less stressful for everyone involved.
